What Is The Cost Of Fixing Dental Implants?

Posted on 12/15/2023 by Weo Admin
Rendering of jaw with dental implant. Dental implants cost can be relatively high since the procedure involves several dental professionals. The placement of dental implants requires a combination of scientific expertise and artistic skills, which may increase the overall service cost beyond the actual cost of the implant itself. Implants offer a durable and natural-looking set of teeth, improving your overall well-being and oral function.

The Cost of a Single Dental Implant

You will not just need an implant. You will also require an abutment and a crown. Each of these items carries a distinct price tag. Therefore, to complete the process, you must obtain the implant, the abutment, and the crown separately, each with its own associated cost. In addition, if you don't have enough jawbone density, you will undergo a bone graft. This forces you to incur an extra expense.

You can pay between $3,000 to $6,000 for a single dental implant. This cost includes not only the implant itself but also the abutment and crown necessary for the complete restoration. When replacing multiple adjacent teeth, you have a wider range of implant options, increasing the costs. For instance, if you have a gap of three or four teeth located closely together, one cost-effective solution is to consider a bridge supported by two implants. This approach can cost you approximately $6,000 to $10,000. This option is more economical than placing four individual implants, as it utilizes two implants to support multiple adjacent teeth.

Cost of Full Mouth Implant

The cost of replacing all teeth in the mouth can vary greatly depending on the chosen approach. You can replace each tooth individually though this method is more expensive. Its price is approximately $61,000 and $90,000. Another cost-effective approach is implant-supported dentures. It involves replacing the upper and lower natural teeth with two full arches of false teeth, similar to traditional dentures. The All-on-4 option comes at a lower price range. You will pay around $25,000 to $50,000 for a complete set of teeth.
